St. Charles East tops Waukegan

St. Charles East 59, Waukegan 56: Senior forward Zach Hondlik drilled a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to give the Saints the road win Saturday.

Hondlik scored a team-high 15 points for the Saints (10-8), who rallied from a 12-2 first-quarter deficit. Ben Talarczyk added 12 points in 11 minutes of action while Evan DiLeonardi scored 10 points and dished out 4 assists.

Westminster Christian 63, Somonauk 46: Dillon Rejman knocked in 3 from deep for a game-high 15 points to secure the Warriors' third-straight in nonconference action. Ben Versluys chipped in 10 points for the Warriors (10-6).

Lockport 44, West Aurora 43: After upsetting Bartlett Friday night, the Blackhawks (5-13) blew a fourth-quarter lead to the Porters in a nonconference loss. Camron Donatlan and Caleb Siler each added 11 points while DaVion Cross added 10.
