I took this photo of a Morton Arboretum trail on Sunday, January 10, an hour before sunset. The temperature was seven degrees and the trees were highlighted with snow and beads of ice. My wife Gloria and I were visiting the Arboretum to enjoy the winter scenery. I took several photos in other spots which just didn't catch the light right. I thought maybe it simply wasn't a day for photography, but then we came around the next corner and saw this trail. It was my last shot of the day and the camera caught the light. Tom Colgan of Glen Ellyn
