Barrington's White House hosts Oscars viewing party Feb. 28
Barrington's White House will host a "Hollywood's Greatest Night" Oscar Party on Feb. 28, when movie lovers can gather to watch the Academy Awards presentation while sipping champagne and nibbling on hors d'oeuvres.
The red carpet will be rolled out for the party, which takes place from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the historical White House, 145 W. Main St.
The Oscars broadcast will be streaming live on multiple large screens throughout the home. Attendees are encouraged to dress to impress or come as a favorite celebrity.
The ticket price of $25 includes hors d'oeuvres, desserts and a glass of champagne, and prizes will be awarded throughout the evening. There also will be a cash bar.
