Sign up for Lenten retreat Feb. 20 at Marmion Academy

All are invited for a morning of Mass, learning and prayer on Saturday, Feb. 20, at the Marmion Alumni Association's Day of Recollection Lenten Retreat.

The morning will begin with a Mass at 8:30 a.m. in the Abbey Church, 850 Butterfield Road in Aurora.

The remainder of the retreat will take place in Marmion's Decio Library on the first floor of the Battaglia Administration Building, 1000 Butterfield Road.

Father Basil Yender OSB of Marmion Abbey will be the guest presenter. His presentation will focus on Pope Francis' desire to make the Jubilee Year a "Year of Mercy" by revisiting Jesus' parables of mercy. By means of analysis, commentary and reflection the main goal for the day will be moving from parable to practice.
