Jan. 26: VoicePlay brings a cappella excitement to CLC

VoicePlay, a five-man a cappella group from Orlando, will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 26 at 7:30 p.m. in the Mainstage Theatre of the James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts at the College of Lake County.

VoicePlay has taken the timeless sound of vocal music and turned it completely on its head. The group recreates the orchestrated sound of an entire musical production with nothing but the human voice. Re-imagined as a full stage show, amazing, humorous and vertigo-inducing harmonies pepper VoicePlay's music-without-music sound as it ping-pongs between eras and styles. From Frankie Valli to Journey to One Direction, they channel the breadth of the musical landscape and lace it with inventive and often hilarious on-stage theatrics. As seen on Season 4 of NBC's "The Sing-Off," VoicePlay performs regularly at Disney World and across the country, and entertains on Disney and Royal Caribbean cruise ships.

Student Ticket Special: Tickets for CLC students or any student are only $10; students must show a valid school ID to purchase tickets. Regular tickets are $25. Prices include $2 JLC facility fee.
