Downtown Metra parking in Park Ridge appalling

We are now down to one pay lot at the Metra station in Park Ridge that will hold about 60 cars, other than a tiny one on Touhy for about 10 cars. Two big commuter parking lots "gone" - no replacement and no one within the Park Ridge government is doing anything.

We're down to parking meters, but even the old ones with dials that even take 5 cents? I've had continuous problems, probably every other day and have lost a lot of money by now with faulty parking meters on Garden Street.

So far this issue was limited to meters with turn dials, but now it's even the "real high tech non-dial" meters. This causes a big problem as we have to move to a new meter spot with very limited time and then often without an adequate amount of "quarters."

Quarter parking meters at the Metra Station in Park Ridge? That's the answer for a city like Park Ridge? Are we not paying enough in real estate taxes to generate a little help with a parking lot? I have to get rolls of quarters every week from my bank? This is the Park Ridge solution?

I've been commuting for 20 years now and this is really the worst and most embarrassing condition I've seen.
