'Age-targeted' subdivision proposed in Bartlett

The Bartlett village board Tuesday will hear a concept proposal for a 77-unit ranch home subdivision Pulte Homes wants to build on property currently used by Sunset Hills Farms as riding and pasture land.

Pulte proposes the project, near the intersection of Naperville Road and Munger Road, as an 'age-targeted community' for empty nesters. Lawn, sidewalk and trail maintenance would be provided by a homeowners association, and houses would range in size from 1,683 square feet to 2,560 square feet.

If the board gives a positive response to the concept plan, Pulte can develop a fully-engineered site plan.

Discussion on the proposal is expected to begin at 8 p.m. at Bartlett Village Hall, 228 S. Main St.
