Lexington Crossing unveils the Coventry model

The winning combination of city style and suburban living greets homebuyers at Lexington Crossing, a new community of 54 luxury townhouses in the heart of Rolling Meadows.

Lexington Homes presents three townhouse designs where exteriors with pillared entries and brick trim are reminiscent of Lincoln Park. Homes feature two to three bedrooms, 2½ baths, island kitchen, large private balcony and an attached two-car garage.

Available options include a fireplace, oak or iron rails, hardwood stairs and volume ceiling in any bedroom. All homes feature open floor plans with the flexibility to adapt to homebuyers' lifestyles.

"The new model homes at Lexington Crossing demonstrate our commitment to providing thoughtfully designed homes that far exceed the expectations of potential buyers," said Jeff Benach, co-principal of Lexington Homes. "Features and finishes that might be considered an upgrade in a typical new-construction community in this area come standard at Lexington Crossing."

Located at Kirchoff and Library roads, the community sits one-half smile west of Route 53, minutes from I-90 and close to the train station, shopping, dining, parks and forest preserves.

Eleni Interiors in Naperville has dressed the models in cutting-edge interior design.

One of the featured models is the Coventry, priced from $334,490 with 1,913 square feet, three bedrooms, 2½ baths, finished lower level and two-car garage.

The main level offers an open floor plan ideal for entertaining, 9-foot-tall ceilings and wood floors along with several dramatic pieces of artwork.

The home's interior showcases a crisp blue, coral and cream color scheme as a contemporary backdrop for the upscale eclectic furniture. And a blend of clean, contemporary furniture with rustic, organic accents adds a warm, welcoming flavor.

In the family room, a cream sofa and love seat are topped with pillows that bring color and texture into the space, while a horizontal stripe near the ceiling adds interest. Two chairs flank a glass-topped end table in a warm spot across from the stunning ledgestone fireplace.

With a gleaming, rich look, the gourmet kitchen features stainless steel appliances, white cabinetry with granite countertops, a center island with breakfast bar overhang, recessed can lighting and access to the outdoor balcony.

On the second level, a cathedral ceiling crowns the master suite where dark blue walls make an impression. The bed with a white bed cover shows an array of blue and white pillows and sits against a white wall. End tables wake up the room with a pop of coral.

The private bath features a raised-height vanity with cabinets, two sinks and ceramic tile flooring. The tub and walk-in shower have ceramic tile surrounds.

The second bedroom offers a comfortable space for guests while the third bedroom is outfitted as a designer's studio complete with fabric samples in an artsy space.

A second-floor laundry room means convenience for homeowners.

The finished lower level offers flexible space with several possibilities such as a fitness center, home office or TV room.

The two other decorated models include the Warrington, priced from $321,990 with 1,758 square feet, two bedrooms and den, and the Bristol, priced from $299,490 with 1,605 square feet and two bedrooms.

To tour the models, visit the sales center at 3245 Kirchoff Road. It is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
