$1M Powerball ticket sold in Indiana for record drawing
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - One ticket sold in Indiana for Wednesday night's record $1.6 billion Powerball drawing is worth $1 million.
That ticket matched five of the drawing's numbers but not the Powerball, making it worth $1 million.
Lottery officials say three tickets sold in Florida, Tennessee and a Los Angeles suburb for Wednesday's drawing matched all of the numbers and will split the jackpot three ways.
The winners of the world-record jackpot overcame odds of 1 in 292.2 million to claim a share of the jackpot. They can take the winnings in annual payments spread over decades or a smaller amount in a lump sum.
Wednesday winning Powerball numbers are: 4, 8, 19, 27, 34 and Powerball 10.
