Enjoy Family Friendly Theatre in Palatine

Palatine Park District presents "Circle of Song," a live theatrical performance by Urban Gateways, on Monday, January 18 at 10:30am. The show will be performed at Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center, 150 E. Wood Street, Palatine. Tickets are $6 per person and can be purchased in person at the box office, by phone at 847-202-5222, or online at www.cuttinghall.org. A convenience fee will be charged per ticket for online orders. No refunds or exchanges. All ticket sales are final.

In "Circle of Song," hear the stories behind the songs and experience the power of communal singing in the African-American tradition in this highly-interactive show. All audiences will connect to the universal themes in the featured songs, which include African chants, coded-language Spirituals, Freedom Songs from the Civil Rights Movement, and contemporary music with messages of peace and empowerment.

Palatine Park District's Family Friendly Theatre productions offer a convenient local option for introducing children to the theatrical experience. Shows are usually an hour long and are offered in a comfortable atmosphere in the heart of Palatine at the Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center. Circle of Song is being presented by Urban Gateways, a theatrical production company that delivers high-quality arts programs led by trained and experienced professional artists in music, dance, theater, literary arts, visual arts, and digital media to engage youth in grades pre-K through 12, their teachers, families, and communities.
