COD Hosts Inaugural Transfer Summit for Counselors and Advisors Feb. 12

College of DuPage will host a Transfer Summit from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12, in the Student Resource Center, Room 2000, on the College's main campus, 425 Fawell Blvd., in Glen Ellyn.

Sponsored by the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling, this summit will provide a way for high school counselors, community college academic advisors and transfer coordinators, and admissions staff members at both two- and four-year colleges to connect and talk about hot-button topics regarding transfer students.

Presentations will include information on articulation agreements, special admissions programs, as well as how best to counsel students about the transfer process.

The fee for this summit is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Lunch is included in the fee and ISBE PD hours will be available.
