St. Luke's to hold indoor winter farmers market

This January, St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Park Ridge will host a one-time indoor winter farmers market, which will provide small, local farm producers with additional venues to extend their income beyond the growing season.

Consumers will have the opportunity to purchase a wide range of seasonal, sustainably-produced goods and support local farmers and vendors. Available items may include fresh produce, meat, honey, salsa, soup and homemade goods.

Through these markets, consumers can continue to purchase farm-fresh items and cultivate relationships with local farmers beyond the summer farmers market season.

The market will be from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, at St. Luke's, 205 N. Prospect Ave., in Park Ridge. Admission is free. For information, call (312) 733-4640, ext. 116; email callie@faithinplace.org; or visit stlukespr.org or faithinplace.org.
