Algonquin library offers Preschool Information Night Jan. 11

The Algonquin Area Public Library will host a Preschool Information Night from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11, at the Harnish Main Library, 2600 Harnish Drive, west of Randall Road in Algonquin.

Parents of children approaching preschool age can explore 15 local preschools in one comfortable location. There will be plenty of time for families to view displays, visit with preschool representatives, and pick up literature to help with decision making.

Bring the kids along and arrive by 6:30 p.m. to enjoy a performance by clown and musician Mary Macaroni, who will present an interactive show perfect for toddlers and preschoolers from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Children are welcome to watch Mary, have a snack, and complete a craft while parents speak with preschool representatives.
