Writers to discuss Pinterest at Schaumburg library

Writers, whether novice or seasoned, published or unpublished, are welcome to attend an upcoming meeting of the American Christian Fiction Writers featuring a presentation on Pinterest. "How Can Pinterest Work for You as a Marketing Tool?" will be presented from 6:30-9 p.m., Friday, Jan. 8, in the kidsZone Program Room of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Road. Non-ACFW members are welcome to attend this free program. No registration is required.

Author A.J. Cattapan will share valuable information on strategies writers can employ using Pinterest, a popular social media tool. She will discuss ways to share pins and create images for optimal pinning. Additionally, Cattapan will provide tips to help grow a Pinterest following. Topics will also include group boards and how to join them. Attendees will leave with practical information for using Pinterest to lead readers to their blogs, websites and books.
