A Lake County woman _ with addresses in Glenview and Mundelein _ has been charged with burglarizing homes in Schaumburg and South Elgin. Schaumburg police say burglars were targeting houses when residents were not home, entering through rear doors and stealing money and jewelry. Full story.

Elgin man charged with 6th DUI

An Elgin man faces a minimum of six years in prison if convicted after his latest DUI arrest over the weekend in East Dundee, according to police and court records. Joseph P. McGreevy, 49, of the 800 block of Cedar Avenue, was charged with his sixth DUI and driving while his license was revoked for at least the fourth time, both felonies. Full story.
