Buffalo Grove police step up DUI enforcement
Buffalo Grove police will be stepping up their enforcement of impaired driving laws through the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" grant campaign during the holidays through New Year's Day. In 2013, 10,076 people were killed in crashes involving a drunk driver. Twenty-three of those deaths occurred on Christmas Day. The enforcement campaign is funded by a grant through the Illinois Department of Transportation Division of Traffic Safety.
