I took this photo the morning of December second which surprised us with a blanket of snow that lit up the landscape. Enough snow to coat the branches, Calm enough to reduce motion blur, and warm enough to leave the gloves in the pocket. The open water with its blue coloration combined with the warm colors of oaks retaining their leaves made this location a must for capturing Winters good side. Tony Pocewicz, of Carpentersville
