$100 to buy coat for single mom

Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Felice Ehrlich of West Chicago.

Here is an excerpt of her story:

“I noticed my supervisor, Sue, had big piece of red duct tape on her only winter coat … to mend a big tear. … I was saddened to learn that she couldn't afford a new coat at this time.

“Sue is such a selfless person and always willing to help others. She is a single mom and needs to use the money from her paycheck for her daily living expenses and a modest Christmas present for each of her two children. I would love the opportunity to give $100 to Sue so she can have a proper winter coat.”

• The Believe Project is awarding $100 each day in December to a different person with a good idea for how to use the money to do a good deed for someone else. Submit your idea in 150 words or fewer at events.dailyherald.com/believe- project.
