Maine West falls short at Glenbrook South

Glenbrook South 52, Maine West 38: Senior Jordan Hart scored a team-high 15 points and grabbed 6 rebounds for visiting Maine West in the Central Suburban League girls basketball crossover in Glenview.

Freshman Rachel Kent added 8 points with 6 rebounds while sophomore Jessica Riedl collected 6 points and 10 rebounds.

Allison Pearson and Hart each had 3-pointers for West (7-4).

St. Charles North 72, Hoffman Estates 58: Junior Monraia Wilson equaled her season-high of 26 points with four 3-pointers for host Hoffman (4-6) while teammate Erin Hanson hit three 3-pointers and netted 15 points in the nonconference game.

Teammate Tayler Williams added 8 points with two 3-pointers.

Stevenson 37, Palatine 20: Ashley Richardson made three 3s and finished with a game-high 12 points to help Stevenson pick up a nonconference victory at Palatine.

The Patriots improved to 8-2 under first-year coach Ashley Graham, winning their seventh straight and establishing a new low in points allowed to an opponent this season.

Jessice Burke hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored 9 points for the Patriots, and Katie Steffens finished with 8.

Palatine (4-7) was led in scoring by freshman guard Elana Porrata, who made a 3-pointer and finished with 7 points.

Bartlett 58, Schaumburg 30: Junior forward Laura O'Connell led the visiting Saxons (5-5) with 10 points in the nonconference game.

Senior Paige Alt had Schaumburg's only 3-pointer which came in the third quarter.
