The Grinch is coming to the Schaumburg Park District for a green-inspired brunch.

Brunch with the Grinch is set for 10 a.m.-noon Dec. 19 at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road, Schaumburg. The menu includes eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, sandwiches, veggies, grapes and chips.

Activities include making Grinch masks, watching the film "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and playing Pin-the-Heart on the Grinch.

Participants may bring cameras for personal photos with the Grinch.

Cost is $12 per person for residents and $15 per person for nonresidents. Registration ends Thursday, Dec. 17.
