Queen of the Rosary Kindergarten Students Explore the Word of Chemistry

On Wednesday, Dec. 2, Harper College Chemistry Department Chair Julie Ellefson and 18 Harper College students provided a variety of hands-on learning experiences for Mrs. Laura Ellefson and Mrs. Carie Petric's kindergarten classes. Under the direction of Julie Ellefson, the college students and kindergartners explored the wonders of chemistry by making lava lamps, slime and ice cream! The afternoon of kinder-collegiate exploration at the Elk Grove School proved to be a learning experience for both groups.
