Women's Guild holds annual Soup and Salad event
As part of the Dickens in Dundee celebration Dec. 5, the Women's Guild of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in West Dundee held its annual Soup and Sandwich Luncheon in the church's fellowship hall.
"Associates in Action" from Kohl's were a great help in the kitchen and serving the food. A bake sale was held the same day to help pay for the food for the luncheon. Every cent taken in goes to the FISH Food Pantry in Carpentersville.
Also featured at the church that day was the Dundee Township Historical Society's annual "Dickens of a Sale," which featured new, gently used and vintage Christmas items and decorations.
