Quin Garbett, Grayslake Central: Quin assured a win. The sharpshooting guard poured in a game-high 23 points, going 4 of 4 from the foul line in the second overtime, as the Rams outlasted Grayslake North 74-71. She followed up with a 12-point effort in a 57-35 victory over Prairie Ridge.

Brasia Solid, Glenbard East: Solid was a force for the Rams in a 52-37 victory at Hinsdale South, scoring 18 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. She added 9 points and 9 rebounds in a 42-28 triumph over West Chicago as Glenbard East got off to one of its best starts in school history.
