Grab a flashlight, wear PJs for Jingles and Jammies

Bust out your coziest pajamas and hunt for holiday treats throughout the Schaumburg Park District's Safety Park.

Open to children ages 12 and younger, Jingles and Jammies is 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10. Participants will meet at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road, before heading outside in search of treasures at Safety Park. Activities include crafts, games and making snacks.

"Come in your jammies and enjoy a holiday party," said Kathleen Benson, Bock Neighborhood Center manager and general program coordinator. "We will make a few fun jingly crafts, play games and go on a scavenger hunt!"

Participants should dress for outdoors and bring a flashlight. Adults must stay with their children during the event. Hot cocoa will be served after the hunt.

Cost is $8 for residents and $12 for nonresidents.
