Register now for NISRA recreation programs

Residents with disabilities can register now for enriching recreation activities with the Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association.

Winter programs, which begin Monday, Jan. 18, take place in public facilities throughout NISRA's 13 member communities.

About 100 cultural, sports, fitness and social programs offer fun, friendship-making, and skill development for people of all ages and ability levels.

The registration deadline is Friday, Dec. 18.

Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association provides year-round recreation and local Special Olympics for residents with disabilities in McHenry County and parts of Cook, Lake and Kane counties.
