Audition for 'Peter Pan Jr.' in Bartlett

Sign up now for youth auditions for "Peter Pan Jr.," between 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, and Friday, Dec. 11; and 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Dec. 12. Based on the Disney film and J.M. Barrie's enchanting play, Disney's "Peter Pan Jr." is a modern version of the timeless tale about a boy who wouldn't grow up.

Wendy Darling loves to tell stories to her brothers, Michael and John. But when her father announces she must move out of the nursery, Peter Pan comes to visit the children and whisks them away to Never Land. Their adventure introduces them to the Lost Boys, Mermaids, Indians and even the infamous pirate, Captain Hook.

To audition, you must be between the ages of 8-18 and must be age 8 by the audition date and not turn age 19 prior to March 14. Performances are March 10-13, 2016 on the Bartlett Community Center stage.

If cast there is a program fee of $66 resident or $76 nonresident which includes a production T-shirt, two complimentary tickets to a performance, script, and theatrical experience. Audition forms are available on our website www.bartlettparks.org and in the BCC lobby.

Cast list will be posted at www.bartlettparks.org under programs-theatre by 4:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14. A parent/cast meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, a sing-through will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 16, and a read-through will be held Thursday, Dec. 17. There will then be a break until Jan. 5. Rehearsals are Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays. Auditions, rehearsals, and performances are all held at the Bartlett Community Center, 700 S. Bartlett Road.
