Thanksgiving Capstone Award provides $5,000 to Two Rivers Head Start Agency

Chicago, Ill. - The executive management team of Dermody Properties, a national industrial development firm headquartered in Reno, Nev., has announced the recipients of the company's annual Dermody Properties Thanksgiving Capstone Award.

In Chicago, which is served by the company's Midwest Region office, the Two Rivers Head Start Agency will receive $5,000 to help fund its food pantries in Aurora and Elgin.

The Dermody Properties Thanksgiving Capstone Award is presented each year during the holiday season by the Dermody Properties executive management committee to help nonprofit organizations address the increased need many nonprofits experience during the holidays. The award was created by Dermody Properties as a way to give thanks at a special time of year.

"With our regional office located in Des Plaines and several ongoing developments in the area, the greater Chicago region is important to Dermody Properties," said Brian Quigley, Partner, Dermody Properties, Midwest Region Office. "We want to show our appreciation for this community by giving back, and the Dermody Properties Thanksgiving Capstone Award is one way for us to do that."

Two Rivers Head Start Agency serves more than 500 households monthly and provides 220,145 in Kane County annually. The Dermody Properties Thanksgiving Capstone Award will provide more than 35,500 pounds of food to those who need it most this holiday season.
