Deck the Jaycee Park trail in holiday splendor

The Cary Park District offers an opportunity to spread holiday cheer. Register your group, club, troop, neighborhood, business, or family to help decorate the trees that will line the trail at Jaycee Park. One tree will be available to each registered group. Each group is responsible for providing their own decorations, putting them up, and taking them down. Decorated trees will stay up for approximately four weeks.

Tree decorating will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 5, at Jaycee Park. Pre-registration is required and is accepted at the Community Center, 255 Briargate Road, Cary. Registration is $25 per tree. Deadline to register is Wednesday, Dec. 2. Stop by later that day for the lighting of the Holiday Walk. In addition to the decorated trees, Santa and his live reindeer will be visiting. This event takes place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at Jaycee Park.
