Carli Lloyd finalist for FIFA Women's Player of the Year

ZURICH (AP) - American forward Carli Lloyd is among the finalists for FIFA Women's Player of the Year after scoring a hat trick that led the United States to victory over Japan in the World Cup final.

Japan's Aya Miyama and Germany's Celia Sasic are the other finalists announced Monday. Winners will be announced Jan. 11.

Jill Ellis of the U.S. is a finalist for Women's Coach of the Year along with Mark Sampson and Norio Sasak of Japan.

Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar are finalists for Men's Player of the Year. Ronaldo has won twice in a row after Messi won the previous four years. Neymar is a first-time finalist.

Chile's Jorge Sampaoli is a finalist for Men's Coach of the Year after winning the Copa America title. Barcelona's Luis Enrique, who led his team to the Champions League title, also is a finalist along with Bayern Munich's Pep Guardiola.
