HONOLULU (AP) - Lashann Higgs scored 18 points and No. 8 Texas beat No. 4 Tennessee 64-53 on Sunday to remain unbeaten.

The freshman guard shot 3 of 5 from 3-point range and had her highest points total of the season to help Texas (5-0) end Tennessee's 27-game home winning streak. Texas went 6 of 13 from beyond the arc.

Tennessee (5-1) hadn't lost at home since a 75-71 loss to Kentucky in February 2014.

Diamond DeShields had 24 points and 11 rebounds for Tennessee.

NO. 2 SOUTH CAROLINA 67, HAWAII 51

A'ja Wilson scored 18 points and South Carolina beat Hawaii in the final game of the Rainbow Wahine Showdown.

Tiffany Mitchell had 14 points, Bianca Cuevas 13 and Khadijah Sessions 11 for the Gamecocks (7-0). They went 3-0 over the weekend to win the four-team tournament.

Destiny King scored 15 points for Hawaii (4-3).

NO. 8 MISSISSIPPI ST 92, SAVANNAH STATE 25

STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) - Victoria Vivians scored a season-high 27 points to lead Mississippi State.

Vivians, a sophomore guard, went 10 of 18 from the field, including three 3-pointers. Kayla Nevitt added 12 points for Mississippi State (5-0). Chelsea Frazier had eight points for Savannah State (1-3).

NO. 12 KENTUCKY 92, JACKSON STATE 24

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Evelyn Akhator had 20 points and 13 rebounds and Kentucky held Jackson State to seven second-half points en route to Matthew Mitchell's 200th win with the Wildcats.

Janee Thompson had 15 points and seven assists for Kentucky (6-0), Taylor Murray had a career-high with 13 points, and Makayla Epps added 12 points and nine assists.

Derica Wiggins led Jackson State (2-2) with 11 points.

NO. 13 STANFORD 71, PURDUE 65, OT

ESTERO, Fla. (AP) - Briana Roberson scored a career-high 26 points, Lili Thompson added 17 and Stanford needed overtime to hold off Purdue in the championship game of the Gulf Coast Classic.

Erica McCall gave Stanford (6-1) the lead on two free throws halfway through overtime and Roberson fed Johnson for a 3-pointer, then hit five straight free throws.

April Wilson scored 17 points, and Ashley Morrissette added 16 for Purdue (5-1).

NO. 16 ARIZONA STATE 60, CSU BAKERSFIELD 47

HONOLULU (AP) - Quinn Dornstauder scored 14 points to lead Arizona State past Cal State Bakersfield in the Rainbow Wahine Showdown.

Katie Hempen added 12 points for Arizona State (3-2). Airica Carmon scored 13 points for Bakersfield (1-5).

ST. JOHN'S 74, NO. 18 SOUTH FLORIDA 70

NEW YORK (AP) - Danaejah Grant scored 27 points and Aliyyah Handford added 23 for St. John's.

St. John's (4-1) hit six of eight free throws in the last minute, including four by Aaliyah Lewis in the final 18 seconds. Courtney Williams scored 25 of her 28 points in the second half for South Florida (3-2).

DAYTON 79, NO. 22 LOUISVILLE 66

ESTERO, Fla. (AP) - Amber Deane scored a career-high 29 points and Dayton beat Louisville in the third-place game at the Gulf Coast Showcase.

Deane was 8 of 12 from the floor, made all 11 of her free throws and added six rebounds and six assists. Kelley Austria added 18 points for Dayton (5-1). Mariya Moore had 23 points for Louisville (1-4).
