Indianapolis police say 2 women dead in shooting at house
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indianapolis police are investigating the fatal shootings of two women at a halfway house.
In a Sunday statement, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said that officers were called to a residence late Saturday on a report of a person shot. Officers found two women. Medics pronounced the women dead at the scene.
The women were identified as India Barnes and Tomika Mack, both 34-year-old women from Indianapolis.
Investigators say the residence is a halfway house with units on both sides of the building.
Authorities say several witnesses are being questioned by police.
