Operation Warm helps covers less fortunate this winter

Operation Warm, a program sponsored by the Mount Prospect/Prospect Heights Rotary Club to help less fortunate families stay warm with new winter coats was held Monday, Nov. 23, in the Community Room of the Mount Prospect village hall.

Concurrently, the village gave out turkeys and food to the more than 130 families that participated in this event. The Rotary also gave out another 70 coats to children in need in Prospect Heights at School District 23. This was the fifth year that the Rotary has participated with the village, helping those less fortunate stay warm during the cold winter months.
