Crystal Lake South makes it 3-0

CL South 55, Guerin 31: At the Richmond-Burton Tournament, the Gators improved to 3-0 with a dominant win over the Crusaders thanks to Zach Geske's 20 points on four 3-pointers made. CLS drained 9 in total, as Tim Siesennop buried 4 to finish with 14 points. South will take on Grayslake North for the championship Saturday at 7 p.m.

Huntley 54, Belvidere North 41: The Red Raiders (1-2) grabbed their first win of the season at the Crystal Lake Central Tournament behind 16 points from Kyle Nwogu. Makomborero Tizora added 12 points while JJ Flores added 8. Tied at the half, Huntley used a 21-7 third quarter to break the game open as the Red Raiders scored 52 points from the second quarter on.

Harvest Christian 66, Alden-Hebron 46: Brett Cramer scored a game-high 26 points for the Lions, who cruised to their first win of the season at the Westminster Christian Tournament.

Farragut 54, South Elgin 34: Tyler Hankins had 10 points for the Storm (1-2), who trailed by 1 at halftime but managed just 11 second half points in a loss at the Rockford Tip-Off Tournament. The Storm however rebounded against Freeport, beating the Pretzels 52-42 in the nightcap.

Downers Grove North 55. Streamwood 44: At the Wheaton Academy Tournament, the Sabres fell to 0-3 despite 13 points from Joey O'Halloran. Brendon Marton added 10 points and 2 steals while Jaleel Jenkins chipped in 10 points.

Sandwich 64, Dundee-Crown 38: Jack Orndahl tallied a team-high 15 points for the Chargers (0-3), who stayed winless at the Sycamore Tournament.
