Holiday activities in Libertyville
On Saturday, Dec. 5 and Dec. 12, downtown Libertyville will bustle with holiday activities during the annual Dickens of a Holiday. Each week from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m., Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in Cook Park on Milwaukee Avenue for holiday photos. The Children's Holiday Shoppe in Petranek's Pharmacy, 426 N. Milwaukee Ave., allows children to do their own private shopping. "Elves" will assist with the selection of gifts, which will be wrapped and ready for giving. All gifts are budget friendly and priced at $5 or less.
