Dance students to perform at Holiday Showcase in St. Charles

The 3rd Street Dance & Theatre Academy Inc. in St. Charles will hold its inaugural Holiday Showcase program to highlight the talent and skills of its students.

The performances will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, Monday, Dec. 7 and Tuesday, Dec. 8, and noon Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Baker Community Center in St. Charles.

More than 200 boys and girls, ranging in age from 2-18, will perform a variety of dances including ballet, jazz, hip hop, point, tap and creative movement.

"Our students are very passionate about dance and love to perform," said Alice Williams, owner and artistic director of 3rd Street Dance & Theatre Academy.

"With the holidays upon us, what better time to spread a little cheer and share the dancing talents of our students with their families and friends."
