No. 17 Oklahoma women rebound to defeat BYU 73-47

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Peyton Little hit four 3-pointers and scored 21 and No. 17 Oklahoma bounced back from an upset loss to race to a 73-47 win over BYU on Thursday.

Maddie Manning added 15 points, seven rebounds and five assists for the Sooners (2-1), who lost a four-point game at home against North Texas on Monday. Kaylon Williams had 12 points and Derica Wyatt 10.

Manning had 11 points just four minutes into the game, including three 3s. Her layup made it 15-5 and she had the last basket of the opening quarter for a 26-17 lead. Little made consecutive 3s late in the second quarter that pushed the lead to 40-20 with 1:19 left in the half.

Lexi Rydalch led BYU (1-1) with 15 points and Makenzi Pulsipher had 10. Kalani Purcell grabbed 14 rebounds.

Oklahoma shot 46 percent, including 11 of 28 from 3-point range. The Cougars shot 32 percent.
