Grain mostly lower, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly lower Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery was 1.25 cents lower at $4.91 a bushel; March corn was .75 cent higher at $3.71 a bushel; March oats were off 1 cent at $2.29 a bushel; while January soybeans lost 1.25 cents to 8.5875 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle was .60 cent higher at $1.3265 a pound; January feeder cattle was 2.155 cents higher at $1.6457 a pound; February lean hogs gained 1.475 cents to $.5820 a pound.
