Des Plaines Garden Club December 10 Meeting
Des Plaines Garden Club 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 10, "Holiday Arrangement Workshop!" Frisbie Senior Center, 52 E. Northwest Hwy. The meeting at noon will feature Horticulturist Bob Nicholson speaking on "Good Bug-Bad Bug", the secret to controlling insect pests is to put away the insecticide and instead plant flowers that the beneficial insects can't resist. At 1:00 p.m. Paul Seils from Busse's Flower and Gifts in Mt. Prospect will lead a workshop to help each member create a holiday arrangement. Cost is $15.00 and all materials will be provided.
