Cold Turkey Trot in Libertyville
Nicasa Behavioral Health Services will host its second Cold Turkey Trot run/walk at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, Shelter C, Old School Forest Preserve, 28201 N. St. Mary's Road, Libertyville. Registration is $30 and $10 for those 12 and under. Dogs and strollers are welcome. Registrants receive a T-shirt. Medals will be presented for the top three male and female finishers in each age group. Proceeds benefit vulnerable and at-risk children, adults, and families. Nicasa promotes lifestyles to prevent and treat substance abuse.
