DVD previews: 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E.,' 'Jimmy's Hall'

Here's a look at DVDs coming out Tuesday, Nov. 17:

"The Man from U.N.C.L.E." (PG-13, 116 minutes, Warner): Cold War secret agents Napoleon Solo (played here by Henry Cavill) and Illya Kuryakin (Armie Hammer) are resurrected in this new take on the old TV series. According to Washington Post critic Michael O'Sullivan, "it fails to evoke any of that show's 1960s cool." Contains action violence, suggestive material and brief nudity. Extras include "A Higher Class of Hero" featurette. Blu-ray adds "Spy Vision: Recreating '60s Cool," "Metisse Motorcycles: Proper - and Very British," "The Guys From U.N.C.L.E.," "A Man of Extraordinary Talents" and "U.N.C.L.E.: On-Set Spy."

"Jimmy's Hall" (PG-13, 106 minutes, Sony): Directed by Ken Loach and based on the true story of Jimmy Gralton, a left-wing activist who courted controversy by opening a dance hall in rural, Depression-era Ireland. Contains obscenity and a scene of violence. Extras include: Deleted scenes, making-of featurette, and commentary with actors Barry Ward and Simone Kirby.

"We Are Your Friends" (R, 96 minutes, Warner): Zac Efron is an aspiring DJ trying to find success in this drama set in Los Angeles' EDM (electronic dance music) clubs. Contains coarse language throughout, drug use, sexual content and some nudity. Extras include "How Zac Efron Learned to DJ."

Also: "The Apu Trilogy" (restoration of Satyajit Ray's films), "The Art of the Heist" (documentary investigating the high-profile thefts of some of the world's greatest pieces of art), "The Collected Works of Hayao Miyazaki" (12-disc set with 11 of Miyazaki's films), "Dark Film Mysteries" (11 film noir classics from the 1940s and '50s), "Empire" (BBC documentary following the rise of the British Empire), "Gene Autry Movie Collection 12" (four fully restored films from Autry's personal archives in their DVD debuts), "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies Extended Edition" (available as a five-DVD set and as a three Blu-ray Disc set), "The Hobbit Trilogy Extended Edition" (extended versions of all three films), "A Horse Tale" (city guy moves to the country to help a friend save his family stables), "Jeff Dunham's Unhinged in Hollywood" (original uncensored and family-friendly versions), "Mary Tyler Moore: A Celebration" (classic clips from Moore's stage and screen career), "Merry Ex-Mas" (Christmas story about a divorced man and his family), "Santa's Little Helper" (unemployed man and an elf compete to be Santa's second-in-command), "The Stanford Prison Experiment" (fact-based drama about a college psychology experiment gone wrong), "Swim Little Fish Swim" (a couple's strained relationship is put under more stress when a young French woman moves into their apartment).

Television series: "McHale's Navy: The Complete Series" (21-disc set with all 138 episodes), "The Rebel: Season Two" (six-disc set featuring all 40 episodes from "The Rebel's" second and final season), "Sgt. Bilko/The Phil Silvers Show: The Final Season" (five-disc set with all 36 episodes from the fourth and final season).
