Vin Chicago Hosts Annual Holiday Champagne Tasting Event

Start the holiday season off right with Vin Chicago's annual Champagne tasting, held at 1350 Old Skokie Road, Highland Park on Friday, Dec. 11, 2015 from 7:30-9:00 PM.

Offering a wide variety of wine at some of the lowest prices in the Midwest, Vin Chicago is known for its knowledgeable staff and passion for wine. For the Champagne tasting, the Vin Chicago staff has personally evaluated 30 of the best Champagne and sparkling wines in the industry. Included are selections from Terry Theise's incredible line-up of hand-crafted "grower" champagne and selections from Spain, Italy, California and Oregon. Light appetizers will be provided as well.

"Often, people only consider Champagne or a sparkling wine for a toast or special occasions, but serving Champagne makes the occasion special," said Peter Schwarzbach, owner of Vin Chicago. "If I'm entertaining, I'm always opening with something bubbly and our staff feels the same. We'll share our knowledge and enthusiasm for sparkling wines and Champagne with all at our Dec. 11 tasting.

In addition to the opportunity to taste any of the 30 champagne, attendees can chat with the extremely knowledgeable Vin Chicago staff, many of whom have advanced wine certifications.
