Snowflake Shuffle offers Crosstown XC Challenge for teens

On Saturday, Dec. 5, TriCity Family Services will host its seventh annual Snowflake Shuffle 5/10K Run & Walk in the Mill Creek subdivision of Geneva.

More than 450 runners are expected. The race is held regardless of what Mother Nature delivers.

Participants are invited to enjoy race-recovery snacks and a homemade hot cocoa bar with loads of fun toppings.

Ginsberg Chiropractic will be on hand to assist with post-race stretching.

The raising of additional funds by participants is integral to the success of this event. They ask participants to utilize our MyEvent page to create a fundraising site. A link to this site may be found on the TriCity Family Services website.

An exciting addition to this year's fundraising effort is the Crosstown Pub and Grill XC Challenge.

James Nichols Sr., owner of Crosstown Pub and Grill, will provide lunch for the high school team that raises the most money for TriCity Family Services.

Interested runners may find a link on the Snowflake Shuffle page with further registration details.

"We have always strived to be strong in our community and build relationships with our neighbors," Nichols said. "We believe this is a great organization and want to show we are we are fully committed."

Sponsorships are still available and include a variety of benefits.
