Prince of Peace plans Thanksgiving Eve Service

An Interfaith Community Thanksgiving Service will be held on Wednesday, November 25 at 7:30 p.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 930 W. Higgins Rd. in Schaumburg.

For over 10 years Prince of Peace has hosted this service on Thanksgiving Eve to bring friends and neighbors together in a time of thanks for the blessings we share in this community, especially for the gift of diversity.

This year's speaker will be Chaplain Tara Shilts of the Alexian Brothers Rehabilitation Hospital in Elk Grove Village.

Singers from various faith groups in the community will perform as a combined choir under the direction of Cantor Ilana Axel of Beth Tikvah Synagogue and Scott Uddenberg, Director of Music at Prince of Peace. Pie and fellowship follow the service; all are warmly invited.
