Property damage destroyed Halloween
Thank you to the thoughtless people who are responsible for ending our Halloween tradition of decorating our yard for the nice kids in the area to see.
Halloween is my all time favorite time of the year. I take my vacation around this time so I can have fun decorating the yard. we go all out (or at least used to) - graveyard scene, tombstones, fog, music etc.
This year was to be the best yet. My son brought home one of those giant pumpkins for our display, a $70 pumpkin. Well, it lasted less than 24 hours.
I awoke Sunday morning to find it smashed in the street along with several other of our pumpkins.
These people came onto our front porch to do their dirty work. This wasn't just kids being kids on Halloween. This happened a full week before Halloween, so it was property damage.
So now, what was to be a great Halloween will not. I took everything down and will not decorate again.
Thank you. A message to whoever did this: Someday you will have a family and want to spread fun. See how you like it when it happens to you.
Happy Halloween.
