Des Plaines human resources director leaves for new post in Michigan
Des Plaines' human resources department director has taken a job as city manager of Rochester, Michigan.
Blaine Wing recently stepped down from his position in Des Plaines, where he was hired in February 2014. He previously served as assistant village manager in Oak Brook for six years.
Des Plaines City Manager Mike Bartholomew said the city is now recruiting for a replacement, with a short list of finalists to be chosen in December and interviewed in January.
