Portillo's opening Tuesday in Gurnee

Portillo's will celebrate its newest location in Gurnee by donating $25,000 that'll be split by the Northern Illinois Food Bank and American Red Cross of Chicago and Northern Illinois. Portillo's will cut the ribbon on the Gurnee outlet at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Portillo's CEO Keith Kinsey and Gurnee Mayor Kristina Kovarik will be among those at the celebration. The store is on the Gurnee Mills perimeter road northeast of Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World.
