St. Luke's to host seminar on helping refugees

PARK RIDGE (Nov. 7, 2015) - A seminar on providing help to refugees around the world will be held at St. Luke's Lutheran Church.

RefugeeOne, in cooperation with the church, will host "Welcoming Refugees: A Workshop for Congregations" from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14.

Those attending will hear one refugee's personal tale of coming to Chicago, as well as learn how churches, synagogues or mosques can help those in flight from war and persecution.

Lunch will be included. Registration is $15 per person or $10 per person for groups of three or more.
