Marmion Academy plans open house

Marmion Academy, 1000 Butterfield Road in Aurora, will hold an open house for prospective students and their families at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8. Enter through the Regole Field House.

The open house will give students a comprehensive look at Marmion Academy, its academic, athletic and extracurricular programs. Prospective students can also meet the members of the administration, faculty members and current students while touring the campus.

Marmion's Scholarship Qualifying Entrance Exam will be given at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5. Eighth-grade applicants must take the exam on this day to be eligible for one of the 14 scholarships to be awarded, totaling more than $250,000. To register for the exam, applicants need to file an application prior to the test date. Complete information can be found on the school's website, marmion.org/admissions.

Eighth-grade students interested in Marmion are encouraged to "shadow" a current student. Parents should call the Admissions Office at (630) 897-6936 to schedule a visit.
