New registration system at the Schaumburg Park District

Registering for Schaumburg Park District programs and events will be easier and more convenient. On Nov. 2, the Schaumburg Park District unveiled a new, easy-to-use, iSPOT online registration system. The system will be open to residents and nonresidents. Updated features include round-the-clock online service; mobile capability; easy, secure transactions and integration with social media accounts.

Getting started with the new registration system will be different for those who have registered for a program after April 1, 2014.

Residents and nonresidents who have registered for a Schaumburg Park District program since April 1, 2014 will follow these steps:

1. Visit www.parkfun.com and click on the iSPOT icon at the top right of the homepage.

2. Click on "forgot your password" and enter the email associated with the account. An email with a temporary password will be sent to the address provided.

3. Return to the iSPOT page and login with email and temporary password. Users will be prompted to change their password after logging in.

Those who have not registered for a District program since April 1, 2014 will follow these steps:

1. Visit www.parkfun.com and click on the iSPOT icon screen at the top right of the homepage.

2. Click on "create an account" and follow the prompts.

For assistance with the new online registration system, call (847) 490-7020, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. or visit www.parkfun.com.
