Don't like cars? Just ban them.

As I understand it, the anti-gun crowd does not want to own a firearm so they believe that if there is something they don't like then it should be banned.

Well, I don't like Ford or Chevy automobiles so I want to ban all "asphalt vehicles." Mustangs or Corvettes, with their "high capacity" engines, are at the top of the list. After all each year 43,443 people are killed and 2.35 million are injured or disabled in vehicle accidents. 1,600 children under 15 years of age die each year in "asphalt vehicles" crashes. Let us join together and find some "common sense vehicle" laws to save all these lives.

Let us restrict transportation needs to modes of travel that cannot go over 10 mph. Each person in a vehicle must first pass a national mandated background check to see if they are current with all rules of the road. The operator of a vehicle is allowed one vehicle per household and must be fingerprinted, photographed and submits a $500 application fee to receive their operator's permit after a six month wait.

Should the operator of a vehicle that causes harm to others in a forceful negligent manner then it shall call for the forfeiture of all registered vehicles in the United States.

Who am I? I am a Vietnam veteran. I spent 25 years as volunteer fireman. Yes, I risked my life to save others without financial gain and I belong to a group of firemen and police officers that own and enjoy firearms. These bravest and finest put their lives on the line for you and you want to take away one thing that they enjoy.

So walk over to us, look in our eyes and tell us you know what we should not be allowed to own.
